Broken Drum Is Beautiful

Beck's new album, Guero, is out today in the UK (tomorrow in the US), but what fans really are clamouring after is the Deluxe 2 disc version that contains an exclusive remix by Boards of Canada. The song, Broken Drum, was remixed by BoC and Beck himself says it's one of his favourite remixes he's ever had done. I can see why. Have a listen to this one minute clip and experience how well Beck and BoC's music go together.

BoC Beck Remix Update

As previously reported, the remix Boards of Canada did for Beck's upcoming album, Guero, was named "Blank Space". I was a bit mystified when I visited Beck's Official Website and noticed that the track was entilted "Broken Drum", not Blank Space.

It has been confirmed with Hexagon Sun that the track is indeed called "Broken Drum" and not "Blank Space".

The remix appears on the CD/DVD version of the album, not the regular release. Guero will be out March 29th on Geffen/interscope records.
