Hi Scores Reissued Once Again…

SKAM Records is reissuing the BoC classic EP, Hi Scores, on October 17th, the same day as The Campfire Headphase comes out on WARP Records. Highly recommended for anyone just getting into BoC.

This will be the third reissue of this classic album, but it is currently unknown if it will come out on both vinyl and CD formats this time (currently only a CD version is listed on Amazon's UK site) and if any changes are made to the packaging.

Bonus Track On Japanese The Campfire Headphase

The Japanese version of The Campfire Headphase, BoC's 3rd album due out October 17th in the US and UK, features a bonus track called Macquarie Ridge, made especially for this release. The Japanese version of TCH is due out October 12th, a full five days before the UK and US versions. However, be warned - it currently retails for 2500 Yen, which is about 22USD and about 12 and a half British pounds. For serious collectors/completests only, not to mention shipping to your locale.

You can order the Japanese version of TCH at HMV's Japanese Website (that has an English mode). I've linked directly to it for your convenience.

Also note they have the Japanese version of Geogaddi, which contains the bonus track From One Source All Things Depend.

If you're curious why the Japanese versions of many CDs contain extra tracks and bonus material, it's because of the high costs of CDs in Japan, and to discourage importing the non-Japanese version by giving the customer an incentive.
