New BOC Album In Feburary?
Martin, our ever-vigilant news hound in the UK says that a number of press releases have stated that the new Boards Of Canada album (title yet to be announced) is due out in Feburary, adding to the speculation to the cryptic message on the music70 website about "2004 being a leap year".It should be noted that neither WARP nor music70 have made mention of a Feburary release date.
Does this mean the new BoC will land on Feburary 29th, 2004? More information as it becomes available.

Another Upcoming BOC Remix
According to Anticon and Titsworth's Future Of Music Site, Boards Of Canada is doing a remix for cLOUDDEAD's upcoming album, "Ten". Anticon's site implies the remix will be (only?) on the 12" version of the album. More information as it becomes available.UPDATE: Titsworth has pointed out that the Official cLOUDDEAD page states that the remix will appear on the 12" single of the album and is a remix of the cLOUDDEAD song "Dead Dogs Two".

Did You Purchase One On One? (US Version Only)
Awhile back, WARP reissued Mira Calix's One On One, with the Boards Of Canada remix on it in the US, well, if yours looked a bit funny on the back, here's why:Warp apologises to all Mira Calix fans who have bought the US CDs of OneOnOne with defective print. We have recalled all the current stock and will be reprinting the faulty inlays as soon as possible.
Anyone who has bought a copy with the faulty inlay (where the back of the inlay is light brown instead of dark red like the front cover) should send their CD to the Warp NY address
WARP RECORDS,
285 WEST BROADWAY,
SUITE 440,
NEW YORK,
NY 10013-2246
and they will be sent a replacement CD along with some Warp goodies by way of apology.
Mind you, this only applies to the US version of One On One - the UK versions are just fine, but also don't feature the BOC remix of Sandsings, which was only available on her Pin Skeeling EP.
Another reason WARP is a great place to order! Now, only if they'd open WARPMart US...

BOC Title In The News
In my morning trolling of the news stories from around the web, this curious story caught my eye because the town mentioned in the article shares it's name with a pre-Twoism BOC release - Hooper Bay, which is in Alaska. The article deals with the police force there not able to carry guns. You can read the news story here.
