BOC Video Contest Update

I won't bore you with all the details, but basically the package sent to BOC (containing your videos) never left the US - a testament to our wonderful postal service over here :\

However, the package has been safely returned, and is now on it's way to BOC - Mike and Marcus are anxious to see the videos, and more importantly, pick the winner.

As soon as I hear from BOC regarding the winner, I'll post it here and the winning video for all to see. Sorry for the inconvenience.

BOC Remixing Boom Bip Update

Music70 has updated information about BOC's upcoming remix of Boom Bip's "Last Walk Around Mirror Lake". The EP is called "From Left To Right" and also features remixes from cLOUDDEAD and Venetian Snares.

The EP is scheduled to come out April 28th in the UK, and April 22nd in the US on Lex Records.

BOC Remixes Boom Bip - Update

Awhile back we mentioned that BOC would be remixing a Boom Bip track on an upcoming EP by Mr. Bip himself. The as yet-untitled EP will feature remixes by Clouddead, Venetian Snares, and of course, Boards Of Canada, who will be remixing the song Last Walk Around Mirror Lake (which in my opinion sounds very BOC-ish to begin with) from Boom Bip's debut album, Seed To Sun (which by the way is an excellent release, highly recommended). BOC Video Contest Update!

Much to my surprise, a sky-blue parcel was waiting for me when I arrived home today, and within was the autographed limited Geogaddi CD signed by Mike and Marcus. I've sent off all your videos to BOC for judging, as Mike and Marcus have agreed to pick the winner themselves from your entries.

I'll post a scan of the autographed CD tomorrow, as my scanner is kaput at home. A winner will be announced as soon as I hear back from BOC with their decision.

WARP Pool Party Sampler CD Available!

WARP Records states that any orders from WARPMart over 50 GBP will get the Pool Party sampler CD (WARP WIFOF2003 MIX. 39m:27s) free with their order, while supplies last.

This only applies to orders made after January 6th, 2003.

UPDATE: If you can't swing the 50 squid to pick up this great release, then you can listen to it on WARP Radio by clicking this link. It is a RealAudio stream, and you will need the latest version of RealPlayer to listen to it.

UPDATE 2: WARP has run out of the sampler, and any orders of 50GBP will get another promo.
