Boards Of Coil?

In a recent discussion with John Balance of Coil on a Soulseek channel, John mentioned the following:
"[Performing live in] Canada is a possibility; speaking of which - We've been in contact/communication/reciprocation with the lads from Boards of Canada. Our extreme appreciation for each other's work is mutual. Something may also come out of that in the near future.. Again, it's all in the aether."

An interesting possibility indeed!

Does this mean the next BOC release on WARP will be a Hell Interface EP or album? Regardless, it will be interesting nonetheless considering the drastically different style of Hell Interface versus BOC. Almost would be considered a remix album in a way...

BOC Inspired Flash Site

Grant, who contacted me regarding the BOC Video Contest, mentioned he has created an "experimental" Flash website based on the BOC track, Kanini Industries. It's pretty interesting, so have a look - you'll need the Flash 5 player or higher to view the site.

Happy Cycling Jockey Sluts

The December issue of Jockey Slut (which is their 10th anniversary issue) features Happy Cycling on it's CD that is included with the issue. UK readers would be wise to pick this up if they do not have the US version of Music Has The Right To Children (which included Happy Cycling as a bonus track) or the BOC Peel Session CD. The version is the same that is on the US release of Music Has The Right To Children, and the UK BOC Peel Session CD.
