Twoism Available For Preorder November 5th

WARPMart will have Twoism available for preorder on November 5th, in both the CD digipak and vinyl formats. Twoism has been remastered from the original source tapes, and no changes have been made to the tracks themselves, and supposedly the vinyl artwork will be the same as the original 1995 release. Since Twoism did not appear on CD originally, it is unknown what the CD artwork will look like but more than likely it will feature the still shot from the movie "The Killings At Outpost Zeta" like on the vinyl release.

Hi Scores To Be Reissued In November

According to the Official Boards Of Canada Website, SKAM Records will be reissuing BOC's debut effort on that label, Hi Scores. This will mark the third pressing for Hi Scores, which on SKAM is a rarity, considering their apprehension for repressing releases. It will be available via mail order only from SKAM's website.

Upcoming Boards Of Canada Remix Of Boom Bip

My recent favourite record, Seed To Sun by Boom Bip (due out September 16th from LEX Records), will be out soon and a promotional sheet from LEX mentions that Boom Bip will have an EP in late January with a Boards Of Canada remix on it. I know, it's a ways off (well, not really, considering January is only 4 months away - man, where did the year go?). More information as it becomes available.

Twoism To Be Reissued November 25th!

At long last the fans' prayers and hopes have been answered, and BoC are reissuing Twoism on WARP Records on November 25th, in both CD Digipak and vinl formats. This reissuance will feature remastered tracks, and include the hidden track "1986 Summer Fire" which is not listed on the vinyl and cassette versions. Twoism was BoC's first offical release, given out to select friends and family, and a few copies appeared in local shops around Edinburg. Now, after seven years, BoC fans can listen to this excellent EP as the way it was intended. It is not known if the artwork will change for the reissuance, or what other details might differentiate this reissuance from the original, which some people have paid more than 1200.00USD for on Ebay.
